Passing On Your Values

Material wealth is only part of a person's total wealth as a whole person, and is not as important to most people as non-material wealth – the emotional, intellectual, and spiritual assets that one accumulates through life, and that are so important to pass on to the next generation.  Surveys have shown that mature families regard values transfer as being 10 times as important as material wealth transfer.  Yet, non-material assets are generally ignored by most financial and estate planners.
